“Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven. It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭13‬:‭6‬-‭7‬ ‭NKJV
‬‬

Make war with the saints - this is the reason Satan “gets out of bed” every morning. He has one thing on his agenda - to kill, steal and destroy the saints of God - those of us whose names are written in the Lamb's Book of Life.

Satan was kicked out of Heaven because he claimed he could be like God and should be worshipped.

When God made man, He said “Let us make man in our image”. We are created to love God and we have His very own DNA when we are adopted into the Family of God through Christ. We were given authority to rule over darkness until Satan lured Adam and Eve into disobedience WITH A LIE. They gave up their authority when they disobeyed God.

Jesus came to reconcile us back God and restored our authority over the devil.

But many of us grow up never knowing our rights as children of The Most High through our acceptance of Christ as our Savior. The reason we are ignorant of these rights is because Satan starts lying to us at a very young age. He’s very subtle and sly in his craft. He finds every opportunity to twist things that people say to us, or uses circumstances around us to deceive us into believing we do not measure up. He whispers we have no purpose, we can never be smart enough or cool enough to fulfill God’s purpose. That is for the “perfect people”, the pretty people or the popular people. So, we eventually settle for a powerless life of just trying to find happiness on our own.

Satan knows he cannot steal our salvation; he knows he cannot steal our true identity as children of God. BUT! What he CAN steal - and goes for it - is our KNOWLEDGE of these things. If he can start lying to us when we are young and vulnerable, he can form a sense of worthlessness by the time we become teens or young adults. We lose sight of who we are in Christ and instead we take on the characteristics of the beast.

He will make sin look fun, glamorous and exciting to lure us in a trap. Once we take the bait and he captures us - then the accuser will turn on us to bury us in guilt and shame that only binds us tighter in his game to destroy our true destiny.

Every believer has a Divine commission - to spread the Gospel. God made us all unique to carry out that commission in our own unique ways in which He created us. We are not supposed to look, talk, or act like anyone else. Only you can be you!

Satan hates us because we are made in the image of God and we are created to tell others about Jesus to build God’s kingdom.

Satan is destined for the lake of fire on God’s timeline. He knows it and he doesn’t want to go alone. He wants to trick as many humans as possible into rejecting God and following him to Hell.

His most powerful game is LYING. He is the father of lies - the king of lies! He will try to convince you God doesn't love you, God doesn't see you, you were not planned, so you have no purpose. He tells you that you aren’t smart enough, pretty enough, popular enough just plain not enough to make an impact in the world. He wants to beat you down until you reject the amazing plan God has for your life all along. The snake is sly….he roams around constantly seeking who he can destroy. Seeking those who don’t even know they can have authority over him.

DON’T FALL FOR IT.

Choose Jesus - know the TRUTH - know who you really are in Christ and watch what He will do with your life. Jesus is the Way, the TRUTH and the Life!

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29‬:‭11‬ ‭NKJV‬

Don't Fall For It by Lisa Dee Dunnam

"Don't Fall For It"

Lisa Dunnam is not a renowned author. She’s someone who lives a quiet life in a rural region of West Texas. In her only book she will probably ever write, she takes the reader on a walk down memory lane to illustrate several decades of her life where she was trapped in the sins that many women struggle with - abuse, abortion, addiction, and adultery. Her low self-esteem and lost sense of identity were rooted in lies she believed about herself that began in her childhood.

These lies were from a source much deeper than she realized. She claims, “Satan’s biggest trick is to whisper lies to us when we are young and vulnerable that shape our self-image and derail our destiny.” Lisa gives blatant details of the pits she was pushed in, lured in, and even jumped in herself.

“When I look back on the past 63 years of my life, I see how God never took His eyes off me even in every dark situation I put myself in. There were many bad decisions, causing me to have to lie in the bed I made for myself. But, with each season of these trials, our merciful, loving, and patient Father still clung to my side, pursuing me unknowingly, until I finally awoke to a new day of free living in total surrender to Jesus. Those seasons lasted for decades but God is long-suffering, and He never goes back on His promises.

If you are someone who struggles with guilt and shame from decisions you have made in desperation – or you are still in that pit of despair - desperately looking to be loved, let’s be friends. Take this book and read my mail. It is my prayer that my story will help you see that you are already PERFECTLY LOVED! There is hope for tomorrow in Jesus Christ. I’m living proof of what the mercy of God can do!”
